Our Story

Woodism is a true family business in every sense, featuring the work of a Father and Son team with a very special story.

Since Woody was a small boy he had a wonderful way with words; coming up with touching and unique phrases on everything from love and friendship to life’s big feelings. These phrases became known as Woody’s ‘Woodisms,’ and gave a glimpse inside his beautiful autistic mind.

Dad, Sonny turned  these ‘Woodisms’ into linocut prints as a fun way to connect with Woody and help share his words with the world. It gave Woody a newfound confidence as people fell in love with the prints and his universal messages; which spread joy and autism acceptance to all who receive them. ("I'm famous!" - Woody) 

A selection of Woodism prints are now held in the permanent collection of the V&A museum, London (you can even buy those designs here!) and feature on walls the world over. 

We’re proud to create affordable, accessible art with a beautiful, family story and have loved our journey ‘all the way to the end of counting’ (as Woody would say.) We hope you will too.
